Troop 125 requires
the scouts to wear a uniform. Why? Uniforms provide just that - uniformity. It is also something that sets a Scout
out from all the rest. Something to be proud of. Something people respect.
Class
"A" uniforms- Tan Shirts, Green Pants, Neckerchief, Slide, Hiking Boots or black shoes. Wear this at all 1st meetings
of each month, courts of Honors, Scouting for Food.
Class
"B" uniforms- Tan shirts, Neckerchief, slide, hiking boots, jeans.
Wear this on Fridays
when leaving for an overnight campout, and 2nd Meetings of each month.
Class
"C"-
Red T-shirts
Wear this at fundraisers
like pasta dinners and car washes, as well as third meetings of each month.
Navy Blue Neckerchiefs
are provided to new scouts by the troop. If a scout looses the neckerchief a new one can be purchased through the Troop
for $9.00.
Although Effingers
Sporting Goods sells Scout Uniforms, they will not have everything you need and will result in 2 shopping trips. The
Council stores are cheaper, have everything and as the profits remain with scouting, it helps keep our registration fee's
down. It is our recomendation you shop at the Scout Stores in Mountainside.
